Green tariff connection: eligibility and support

Green tariff connection starts with checking whether the specific solar plant is eligible. We review the owner’s status, plant specifications and commissioning date, grid connection, metering and existing agreements. The findings determine the applicable procedure and support scope. Installing panels alone does not establish a right to the tariff or start payments.

Documents and connection support

After the eligibility review, we define the documents and work needed. Grid connection, tariff approval and electricity sales arrangements have separate requirements and outcomes.

Eligibility review

We check the site category, capacity, commissioning date and existing decisions. We establish whether a green tariff application is possible and assess self-generation as a separate option.

Connection parameters

We review existing records and permitted export parameters. We clarify with the network operator which changes or additional actions the selected operating arrangement requires.

Technical documents

We prepare the agreed set of diagrams, equipment information and design materials. We identify missing records and the party responsible for providing them.

Regulatory requirements

Licensing and other requirements are checked against the participant’s status and operating model. We do not apply one approval checklist to every plant.

Sales agreements

We identify the appropriate buyer or supplier for the selected mechanism. We agree the contractual documents required and the process for completing them.

Commercial metering

We check requirements for the metering point, import and export measurements and data transfer. Inverter portal readings do not replace the agreed commercial metering arrangements.
Process

How the connection process works

The initial assessment determines the next steps. Submitting documents does not itself mean that the tariff has been approved or electricity sales have started.

Initial information

We collect owner and plant details, capacity, commissioning date, connection and metering records and existing agreements.

Assessment and plan

We identify the applicable procedure, required documents, responsible parties and work needed before submission.

Documents and approvals

We prepare the agreed package and support applications to the relevant parties. We address comments received during the review.

Settlement readiness

We check completed decisions, agreements and metering readiness. We confirm the conditions for starting sales with the relevant parties.
Details

Mechanism, timing and terms

We first establish the site’s regulatory and technical arrangement. We then agree the support scope, schedule and price.

Status and mechanism

Active consumer is a market participant status. The green tariff and self-generation are separate sales mechanisms; eligibility for each is checked individually.

Timing by stage

The schedule depends on document completeness, technical changes and reviews by other parties. We agree times for our work and identify external dependencies separately.

Scope and cost

The proposal states each stage’s outcome, actions required from the customer and additional costs. A favourable decision or a particular income is not an automatic result of support.

Assess the options for your site

Share the plant capacity, commissioning date, owner’s status and available documents. We will review the applicable process and agree the scope of the next steps.
