Solar loan application support

Application support for business solar loans

ONG Solar helps businesses prepare the project part of a solar financing application and organise the requested materials. We start with the site, budget and selected bank's checklist. We agree the scope, responsibilities and method for sharing documents. The bank assesses the borrower and makes the credit decision; the company supplies accurate financial information and approves submission of its application.

Project package
Bring the estimate, equipment specification and delivery schedule into one consistent set of materials.
Document checklist
Assign an owner, due date and current status to each request.
Financial model
Connect the budget, equity contribution and payment schedule with forecast savings.
Request coordination
Track bank questions and document revisions so that participants work with consistent information.
Service scope

Materials to prepare for a solar loan application

These are preparation categories, not a mandatory package for every bank. The lender determines the final list, reporting periods, forms and signature requirements. Some materials may only be needed at a later stage.

Company and signatory

Agree who will borrow and who is authorised to sign. The company prepares registration details, ownership information and evidence of signing authority as requested by the bank.

Financial information

The accounting team supplies the requested reporting periods and information on existing obligations. Together we clarify equity funding and the repayment source. A project model does not replace the bank's financial assessment.

Roof or land

Prepare site details and evidence of ownership or use rights. For rented premises, establish the terms for installing PV and any approvals that may be needed.

Consumption and technical brief

Provide available electricity metering data, operating patterns and connection parameters. Identify backup requirements separately: the presence of PV alone does not establish operation during a grid outage.

Budget and supply

Prepare the equipment scope, work costs, payment stages and delivery schedule. Check that the commercial proposal, draft agreements and financing amount all relate to the same specification.

Financing conditions

Collect the bank's offer, repayment schedule and conditions before disbursement. Clarify valuation, security, insurance and post-commissioning documentation separately.
Process

From initial inputs to a coordinated package

Preparation time depends on site readiness, company documents and additional requests. We agree the support scope, cost and working arrangements before starting.

Clarify the task

Record the site, budget, available information and stage of discussions with the bank. Agree which materials ONG Solar prepares and which come from the company or another participant.

Create a document register

Record each document's name, version, owner and status: ready, under clarification or awaited. Check that amounts, company details and equipment scope are consistent throughout.

Prepare submission

Bring together technical materials and calculations, marking assumptions and unresolved issues. Send the package through the agreed channel after company review and authorisation.

Address requests

Coordinate project clarifications and update document versions. After the bank responds, record its conditions and next actions; contract questions go to the company's relevant advisers.
Details

What the company receives

Deliverables depend on the agreed service scope. A prepared package helps organise the review but does not guarantee loan approval or a particular disbursement date.

Consistent project materials

A current estimate, specification and schedule for the same project version. Changes are identified, and missing inputs have an assigned owner.

A calculation with assumptions

Budget, equity contribution, forecast savings and repayments based on the terms received. Seasonality, servicing costs and reserve needs are visible, without a universal payback promise.

Application status and next action

A record of submitted materials, open requests and outstanding conditions. Preliminary review, the credit decision and fulfilment of disbursement requirements are tracked as separate stages.
